Luxury Villas in COSTA BLANCA

Costa Blanca, the scenic treasure of the Mediterranean

Costa Blanca

The Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante is one of the main destinations both for the Spanish and the foreigners. More than 240 kilometres of coast from Denia, in the North, to Pilar de la Horadada, which borders the Region of Murcia.

A region of approximately 1.200.000 inhabitants which is famous by its weather, gastronomy and festivities, and of course by its beaches of crystalline water.

One of the most important attractions is its climate, since the area has more than 300 days of sun per year and an annual average temperature of 21ºC. Summers are generally hot and winters are mild, which make it a perfect place to live in. This is also one of the main reasons why the Costa Blanca is one of the areas with the most international tourism.

A treasure both in the coast and in the middle of nature

Both in the coast and inland of the Costa Blanca there is a scenic, natural and historic heritage of great value. It is considered one of the most important touristic destinations both in Spain and in Europe.

The Costa Blanca has been awarded with 74 Blue Flags in its beaches, a recognition awarded by the European Union which guarantees their quality and service.

But the Costa Blanca is much more than a coast and sun destination. It is also one of the main destinations for the nature lovers. Natural Parks such as the Sierra Mariola Natural Park, the Font Roja Natural Park to the North of the province, the Montgó Natural Park, Sierra Helada, Penyal d’Ifac or the Salinas. Places with a great charm and where you can do excursions, hiking and much more extreme sports.

It is an area where a lot of different cultures have lived all along humanity, leaving architectural remains of different periods: Roman, Greek, Phoenician and Iberian.

These historical and architectural remains can be observed in places of great interest such as Santa Barbara’s Castle of Alicante, the Guadalest Castle, the historic centre of Altea and much more places of great tourist interest.

Moreover, it is an area with a big architectural contrast. Towns with traditional charm and cling to the past such as the case of Altea, Benissa or Jávea, and modern and avant-garde cities which have a big touristic development such as Benidorm.
