Una de las paradas imprescindibles es el Parque Natural del Montgó, cuyo pico se encuentra a más de 750 metros de altura. La cadena montañosa y los acantilados permiten que Jávea tenga un excelente clima cálido y una temperatura media anual entre los 18 y los 24 grados.
Jávea cuenta con 32.000 habitantes y es uno de los municipios de mayor riqueza paisajística de la Costa Blanca. La localidad se divide principalmente en tres zonas: el casco antiguo, el puerto y el Arenal con el núcleo turístico.

El casco antiguo se encuentra a 2km de la costa y está amurallado. En su interior, se encuentra un laberinto de calles empedradas, plazas y rincones de gran belleza. Además, en el casco antiguo se encuentran monumentos como la Iglesia-Fortaleza de San Bartolomé, de estilo isabelino y gótico, declarada Monumento Artístico Nacional. Aunque la playa del Arenal sea la más conocida, lo cierto es que Jávea cuenta con más de 20 kilómetros de costa. La costa de esta localidad es una de las más escarpadas de todo el litoral de la Comunidad Valenciana, lo que permite que tenga playas como la del Portixol o la Granadella, de las más populares de la Costa Blanca.
